Hi there…let me be the first to wish you the warmest of welcomes to The Native – I’m so glad you stopped by!
As the site’s editor-in-chief, it’s a real pleasure to greet you and a real thrill to see The Native finally up and running – my colleagues and I have been working on it for the last six months.
So, what is The Native?
In short, The Native is a hub of inspiring resources, tools and insight for education and youth marketers.
Our mission is simply to be as useful as we can be to you. Whether you visit us once a day, once a week or once a year (but hopefully you’ll come back more often than that!), you’ll find something that will add value and be worth your time.
We want to do what we can to educate you – that means getting under the skin of cool campaigns, documenting our own adventures in content marketing and speaking to plenty of experts too – and we hope you’ll find our content entertaining too.
But, most of all, this site is about you; we want to help you be better informed and be better at your jobs. And that’s it. No hidden agenda. Just awesome content.
Who runs The Native?
The Native is part of the Natives Group – the World’s Audience, Attraction and Conversion Specialist for Student Marketing.
Natives Group is a collection of specialist brands who solve individual problems or work collectively as partners to our clients.
But, just because we’re part of the Natives Group, it doesn’t mean we’re here to sell you Native Group stuff and services. The Native is its own thing and it’s been built with you in mind. We might talk to different experts from the Natives Group every so often here, but that’s because they’re dead smart, excellent people who really know their stuff.
What sort of things will be shared on The Native?
We’ve got plans for a range of great content – quick articles, top tips, case studies and longer reads too. Further down the line, we’ll also launch a newsletter, create white papers and, later this month, will launch a podcast featuring interviews with a bunch of brilliant marketers talking about the brilliant work they do.
We’ll be sharing something excellent every day, so make sure you keep coming back – or follow us on Twitter so you don’t miss a thing.
For our launch week, we’ve pulled together a series of social media panels, where marketers from universities and brands, education thought leaders and even some current students will reflect on how they used social media in 2017 and make some predictions for 2018.
